After the death of their flock of chickens, Joan Doyle and her family struggle to make ends meet. Matters draw worse when Joan discovers that her parents are considering selling their multigenerational farm and home. Desperate to save it, Joan gets to work. 

 

She’s willing to do anything to save her family farm, and her old acquaintance Randy is excited to break some rules that just might help her. As they push the limits to make things happen, they grow closer, discovering disturbing truths about their small town along the way.
